Blackbox Presents: MORNING TELEPORTATION + more at LaGrange - Preview

Weds. May 16th | LaGrange
Blackbox Presents: MORNING TELEPORATION | THE ROOMSOUNDS | NICOS GUN
sponsored by: GoodBAMMSho
doors: 9pm | $7 advance - $10 @ the door

Bowling Green, KY people... who knows what I'm talking about?  Ok, forget I asked. Point being the guys from Morning Teleportation know a thing or seven about said Kentucky Home considering that's where it all began for Travis Goodwin, Tres Cocker (great name!) and Paul Wilkerson who ran into Tiger Merritt by way of Chicago who was attending college in BG.
This group of dudes have been around the country and back, lived in crazy places like Oregon (no idea?) and even played Letterman last year just to give you an idea of how they roll.
Cage the Elephant (another BG band) actually convinced/suggested the guys should take the next step into a pro career as musicians, according to past articles.

Run & Tell Em' He's On -- Fire!

Safe to say the average musician out of Nashville doesn't front a rock band look with an electro-rap style that actually appeals to the same type of people who say they're "not that into hip hop".
A Music City native, Antonio Dewayne Boleyjack aka: Chancellor Warhol has developed an intense style for both his live and studio work that has already secured him invites to some rather large stages and events like Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits & Atlanta’s A3C to name a few.                 Japanese Lunchbox was his first solo effort & voted "Best Rap Album" 2010 by Nashville Scene right out of the gate.
Recently the Pop Culture Politico mission
Rock the Vote did a sit down with Chancellor W. for a little Q&A: INTERVIEW and gained some insight into his social/political views.
If you hurry tickets are still available for tonight's Schaeffer Crawfish Boil featuring Snoop Dog, Wiz Khalifa, Lupe Fiasco & Chancellor Warhol.  Yes, the road trip to Birmingham, AL is worth it Nashville!
To hold you over until the show here is the official music video for "I'm On" [Japanese Lunchbox 2010] feat. Drupy for your viewing/listening pleasure...
