Quick Peek at Fort Worth Music Festival this Weekend!

Retro cool is no doubt the theme for this years Fort Worth Music Festival at Panther Island Pavilion.

Every piece of artwork or graphic related to the festival we've seen so far has that aged 70's vibe going on that could easily pass for a vintage t-shirt print or bumper sticker from that era.

The new/old vibe is very fitting considering the lineup this year!  True music legends like Lucinda Williams headlining Friday night's (5/16) Shiner Bock Stage & Billy F Gibbons of ZZ Top no doubt will bring a massive crowd to the Rahr Brewing Stage beforehand.

Justin Townes Earle will also be on hand Friday night as well to give Fort Worth another dose of his adored folk heritage that people couldn't seem to get enough of at Paste Untapped Fort Worth last year.

Ray Wylie Hubbard should also be a highlight for fans in need of his brand of "Snake Farm" country soul.

Popular Austin band Uncle Lucius take the Rahr stage around 5pm plus some great local support from bands like Quaker City Nighthawks, Patriot and Ronnie Fauss will be live on Friday.

Just coming off our Suburbia Music Festival adventure in Plano, one BIG difference you notice right away this year with Fort Worth Music Fest. are prices!

$25 will get you a Single Day Pass and get the full Two Day Pass for only $40. A far cry from the $70+ single day tickets at Suburbia.  >> FWMF TICKETS AVAILABLE!

Premium parking is only $5.00 & the best part is you don't have to ride a school bus from your car followed by a 5 mile hike into festival grounds! [ok, not really 5 miles but a damn long beautiful walk Plano!]

Saturday (5/17) we'll leave the country/folk behind and bring on the pop/rock/electronic/indie jams!

"Do your best, do everything you can!" and DO NOT MISS Jimmy Eat World headlining the Shiner Bock Stage at 9:30pm Saturday night!

Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. | The Airborne Toxic Event | Aaron Behrens (Ghostland Observatory) and The Midnight Stroll | Air Review | Jackopierce | TEAM* | Oil Boom | Quiet Company | The Fox and the Bird | Ice Eater | Foxtrot Uniform will fill up your Saturday with a ton of music happiness!

Watch for a full review next week plus a feature interview with Dallas band TEAM*!

EVERYTHING EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT - ALRIGHT!
