Whiskey Folk Ramblers, period!

No attempt at a catchy title needed.  Whiskey Folk Ramblers get the job done with their name alone. Formed in 2006 the rambling six are comprised of Tyler Rougeux, Richard Lee Davenport, Trey Ownby, JackDaw Russell, Mark Moncrieff and Cory Graves.
"The only band with the word whiskey in it's name that's worth a damn" according to the Dallas Observer and I make the point to not disagree.
Earlier this year WFR had a chance to do a Daytrotter session that if you don't know is a highly popular live music blog geared toward indie acts from all over.
Speaking of all over, the guys also were asked to perform live at Sofar - Dallas/Fort Worth earlier this year. Sofar Sounds - Songs from a Room is an international must see & know about "pop up, secret" live show collective. No worries, we will be telling you a lot more about them soon!
Fresh off their ATF Bash [Alcohol, Tobacco & Folk] at the Truelove Bar in Waco the Whiskey crew will be kicking it live at The Doublewide in Dallas on July 14th.
If Denton is closer, you can catch them at Rockin' Rodeo on July 19th.
Last Thursday the band shared a behind the scenes look at the in-studio recording of their new song "Bad Dreams" which was filmed by Brian Bailey of Intent Film Productions...
